GOARN, or the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.who.int\/westernpacific\/wpro-emergencies\/response\/the-global-outbreak-alert-and-response-network-(goarn)\">Global Outbreak Alert and Response Network<\/a><\/span>,<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">\u00a0is like a worldwide team of health experts from the World Health Organisation (WHO) who jump into action when there&#8217;s a big health emergency. They work with over 300 groups globally, with 76 in the Western Pacific Region, to spot, assess, and tackle serious health crises, like SARS, bird flu, and COVID-19. Since 2003, they&#8217;ve been on the front lines of various outbreaks, sending 72 experts on 89 missions during the COVID-19 pandemic alone. WHO helps them train and get ready for action, making sure they&#8217;re all on the same page when it comes to dealing with emergencies.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e4a800c elementor-widget class=\"ptGQd\">In response to the global pandemic, we collaborated with epidemiologists to develop eLearning modules for the World Health Organization\u2019s Global Outbreak Alert and Response Network (GOARN), aimed at enhancing contact tracing workforce capacity.<\/span><\/p><\/div><div data-hook=\"rcv-block8\">\u00a0<\/div><div data-hook=\"rcv-block9\">\u00a0<\/div><div data-breakout=\"normal\"><h2 id=\"viewer-bnef112897\" class=\"Gfz0Y wpVeQ zcgfA QENj7\" dir=\"auto\"><span class=\"og-6R\">The learning solution<\/span><\/h2><\/div><div data-hook=\"rcv-block10\">\u00a0<\/div><div data-breakout=\"normal\"><p id=\"viewer-3nwra12477\" class=\"lQ4U6 OfD-H zcgfA QENj7\" dir=\"auto\"><span class=\"ptGQd\">Partnering with epidemiologists from Australia MAE and Canada FEP, we designed and developed three modules:<\/span><\/p><\/div><div data-breakout=\"normal\"><ul><li id=\"viewer-1u44a12738\" class=\"lQ4U6 OfD-H zcgfA QENj7\" dir=\"auto\"><span class=\"ptGQd\"><strong>Introduction to Contact Tracing:<\/strong> Refreshing principles and strategies.<\/span><\/li><li class=\"lQ4U6 OfD-H zcgfA QENj7\" dir=\"auto\"><strong style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Social Determinants, Culture, and Contact Tracing: <\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Emphasizing considerations for vulnerable populations, cultural aspects, and effective communication.<\/span><\/li><li class=\"lQ4U6 OfD-H zcgfA QENj7\" dir=\"auto\"><strong style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Mental Health and Well-being for Contact Tracers:<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"> Focusing on psychosocial support and stress management.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/div><\/div><div data-breakout=\"normal\"><div data-breakout=\"normal\"><div
